Sarah Parks is the founder and principal of Custom Estate Planning. She graduated from George Mason School of Law (Arlington, Virginia) and joined the Virginia State Bar in 1993. Sarah also
has an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (Washington, DC).
Sarah founded Custom Estate Planning in 1995. The focus of her practice has been making estate planning understandable and available to everyone who wants a solid estate plan. Sarah is committed to
spending the time with each client to acquaint herself with the client’s family situation, financial situation and estate planning goals so that the plan she develops for the client will meet the
client’s needs. Sarah is also committed to being certain the client understands the estate planning options available for the client’s unique situation and help the client make the best possible
choices from those available options.
Sarah is a regular instructor for Encore Learning in Arlington, the Osher Lifetime Learning Institute (OLLI) in Fairfax and Lifetime Learning in Annandale.
Dina Chatila Shaar is a Virginia-licensed estate planning attorney who brings practical experience and a client-centered approach to her work. After graduating from George Mason University School of Law in 2024, Dina has focused on creating tailored estate plans that address the individual circumstances and priorities of each client.
Known for her clear communication and thoughtful guidance, Dina helps clients navigate the complexities of estate planning with confidence and ease. She leverages the latest legal technologies and strategies to deliver efficient, personalized solutions that protect families and their assets.
